Customer Support Specialist (Dota 2 Market)

We’re looking for a Customer Support Specialist who can join our team and be the friendly, knowledgeable face of Buy Item Here.
You’ll help players resolve issues, understand our platform, and leave with a great experience — even if something went wrong.
Responsibilities
✅ Respond to customer inquiries (email, chat, Discord) in English (and ideally one more EU language, e.g., German or French)
✅ Help players with common issues: undelivered items, payment questions, account setup
✅ Coordinate with the delivery and tech teams to troubleshoot issues
✅ Write clear internal notes so the team knows what’s happening
✅ Spot patterns in complaints or issues and suggest improvements
Requirements
- 🎓 Fluent English (spoken and written); bonus if you know another EU language
- 🎮 Knowledge of Dota 2 — you understand the difference between Immortals, Arcanas, and Rares
- 💬 Great communicator: you can explain complex things simply
- 🖥️ Experience with customer service tools (Zendesk, Freshdesk, Intercom, or similar)
- ⏰ Ability to work flexible shifts, including some evenings/weekends (gaming never sleeps!)
